To Skin... or not to Skin?

With the release of Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, Sonic Rush, Mario Kart DS and of course Animal Crossing: Wild World my DS is going to be getting a lot of use this holiday season and frankly I'm sick of looking at the silverness of it. It was sleek when I first got it, but with the recent releases of Electric Blue, Racing Stripe Red and Strangely Masculine Pink the silver just feels a bit dull. Switching from my usual preference of blue or orange, I'm thinking about a red one this time... either the above, from decalgirl.com, or the below, from vinzdecals.com. Help!

ha! how weird is this? I was thinking the exact thing today while i was playing on mine today - i was gonna get rid of it and get a white one from japan but i dunno now... was also waiting to see what came of these "remodelled" version rumors

I want to rebuy a DS, because I foolishly sold mine when there we no good games out, or coming out in the near future. More specifically, i traded it in towards a PSP...

Now I'm in two minds. Should I wait for the remodelled version, like you say Ratty - or should we just go and get a nice colour from Japan? If you're going to sell your DS though, do it now, right before Christmas!

To be honest Chris, i'm backing the top skin :)

A DS SP is tempting - personally Ratty I'd hang onto your current DS and just pick up a nice skin for it. There's plenty of cool skin sites out there with loads of different options. Though, I haven't seen this white DS... it sounds very nice actually..

The wait for a remodel of the DS could be awhile, I'm sure if they are cooking something up it won't be unveiled until E3. But you never know!

Thing is i've never been a big fan of skinning any console, they tend to get a bit tatty after a while. I'd rather take the casing apart and get kev to do some of his amazing artistical work on it. Or just spray it white.

I really like the jap white one... plus mine is starting to get a bit grazed.
