Happy Halloween from Chafe

Only me, Master Chafe here to wish you a Happy Halloween. Of course, you might not recognise me with my mask on, but i assure you, this is Master Chafe only a bit more scarier. To make matters worse, me and the lads decided to bob for Onion Bajis this year, instead of traditionally bobbing for apples. Consequently, not only do i look rather scary, but if you come in a three meter radius of me, you'll smell something pretty vile and scary too. Lets hope the neighbours give me sweets this year, or they'll get a trick they'll never forget. A flaming Chafe turd on their doorstep.

ChafeOut.

If you were one of the lucky (or unlucky) ones to play alongside two players today that were completely obsessed with "A fantastic new blog site" that "puts other blog sites to shame" and "revolutionises the word blog" amongst "contains an exclusive story about the new GTA" then congratulations. We'd love you to post a comment. We'll be spreading the chafe for a full week before this site officially launches to the public. And you gasp in amazement when Microsoft go all cryptic and viral - i'd say Master Chafe's LIVE message is about as viral as a cheap advertisement can get.

Stay with Master Chafe for the latest and greatest news and bits and bobs!

A lot of people might laugh when I say this, but Stuart Little 3: Big Photo Adventure for the PS2 is like GTA minus the violence - but it's actually refreshingly great. You should check out the review on our mother site located here. Now, where did I leave that mouse trap?

Maybe not Jack Thompsons Dream then - as this game contains toy tanks.

Xbox.com Launches My Xbox

Late last night Xbox.com launched it's My Xbox section allowing users to create their Gamer Cards and Profiles that will be used online with the Xbox 360. It will be your card, and show the games you play and your logo.

Soon, when the 360 launches, this website and the 360 dashboard will begin to display your achievments within any Xbox game you play, even if it's something as minor as completing basic training. The site acts as if the 360 is out now, even allowing you to register your console, so once it does get in your grubby hands everything is in place to fully merge your internet and 360 activities into one.

New Xbox 360 Titles On The Way?

According to the latest issue of Xbox World 360, Microsoft has a few secrets up their sleeve. The issue touches on some rumoured games that are in development that "Microsoft doesn't want you to know about"... DUN DUN DUN.

While the feature mentions numerous games that most people assume are under-development - your Halo 3, Forza Motorsport 2, and Ninja Gaiden 2 - it also mentioned a good dozen other games that haven't even been announced or heard of, let alone announced for being in development. It's a little iffy and some of the titles are very unlikely, but regardless a major magazine has posted this list of games as hitting the 360 before 2007 ends.

  • WWE WrestleMania 360 (if this did happen it would likely be changed to WrestleMania 23 or 24)
  • The Sims 3
  • Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 5
  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 3
  • Jade Empire 2
  • Un-titled Bioware game
  • Brute Force 2
  • The Chronicles of Riddick sequel
  • Unreal 2007
  • Turok follow-up
  • Avalon
  • BC
  • Fable 2
  • Half-Life 3
  • Hitman 3
  • Man With No Name
  • Outrun follow-up
  • PES 6
  • Rallisport Challenge 3
  • Next-Generation Grand Theft Auto
Some of those names are surprising and seem very unlikely, specifically Half-Life 3, but time will tell I suppose. You should in no way take this as an even remotely confirmed list!

Master Chafe's Irregular Input #1

"Hi gang, Chafe here - bringing you my latest thought from my chafing Spartan suit. I've just heard that UK retailer GameStation are receiving the most Xbox 360's for launch. A grand total of 41% will be shipped to GameStation, while rival GAME will only get 19% - which pales somewhat in comparison if you ask me! No word on how many Halfords will be receiving, which is where I pre-ordered mine. Those darn sales-men!"

Chafe Out.

Tiger Woods 360!

I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to EA's Tiger Woods 06 on the Xbox 360 above some first-party titles. I'm currently playing and reviewing Tiger Woods 06 for the current-gen consoles, which I cannot get enough of. I'm hoping with that same gameplay engine combined with more luscious and more realistic graphics will all contribute towards a smashing launch title for the Xbox 360 in a couple of months time. Keep your eyes peeled for the Tiger Wood's review on Acegamez soon, and keep checking back for more Xbox 360 news!

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat

After spending a good amount of time with the Xbox version of Battlefield 2: Modern Combat I must say I'm completely blown away and it has, thus far, surpassed my wildest expectations. Not only is the online mode refreshing, unique, and wide open but the single player is as well for all the same reasons, and more. Which is rare in first person shooters now days. Although EA's servers seem to be a bit touchy at the moment, it's more than likely that will be resolved soon and when it is... well, I'll be saying goodbye to my life for a few months. I just can't wait to see what the 360 version looks and plays like...

Expect a full review of BF2: MC on AceGamez in the very near future.

Nintendo DS Wi-Fi Reminder

Just a reminder from your resident DS lover to everyone that the Nintendo DS is being prepped for online play and the wi-fi connection will launch mid-November; for those not on a wireless network you can grab the USB add-on that will steal some of your computer's muster and use it to get the DS online. You'll have to settle on Mario Kart DS for the time being as Animal Crossing: Wild World won't hit until December! Of course, as much as I love Animal Crossing, by then the 360 will be out...

On a side note, look for thoughts on Battlefield 2: Modern Combat soon...

Trauma Center: Under the Knife Review

The Nintendo DS is now becoming a major contender in the handheld market, thanks to a rush of unique, one of a kind games like Ace Attorney, Lost in Blue and now Atlus' new surgery title Trauma Center: Under the Knife.

But how great can a surgery game really be? Is it the new must-have DS title or just another obscure tech-demo at full price? Find out if Trauma Center can stabilise itself or if it ends up flatlining in my new review, located on our site AceGamez here, and while you're at it check out the rest of our DS reviews!

Wallace and Gromit!

Curse of the Were-Rabbit is the game spin-off of the hit movie - control three likeable characters through a wild adventure, starring newcomer Hutch and the friendly rabbit! Following the film, your very own A-Team will have to keep the pest situation under control, using your Luigi's Mansion type vacuum to suck up those darn bunnies! The review is inside!

On a different note, I've never understood why they test makeup on rabbits. I mean, they already look cute as it is, without using any foundation!
